The Philosophy

Together, they reflect the idea of finding a gentle equilibrium within ourselves, a space where our thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences can feel understood, validated, and at peace.

The Practice

As a therapist, my aim is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your inner world. I believe that each person's journey is unique, and that healing looks different for everyone.

Through our work together, my hope is to help you move toward a sense of balance that feels true and supportive for you, because therapy isn't about changing who you are, but about reconnecting with your most authentic self.

The Importance

In the context of mental health, maintaining "Mann Santulan" is essential for overall well-being, as it helps individuals navigate life's challenges with resilience and clarity.

What is Therapy?

Understanding the therapeutic process

Therapy is a space just for you, a space where you can talk freely about what's on your mind, without the fear of being judged or misunderstood. It's where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with someone who's trained to listen, understand, and support you.

It's not only for when things feel overwhelming. Sometimes, it's about getting to know yourself better, building confidence, improving relationships, or just having someone to talk to when life feels confusing or heavy. You don't need to have a "big reason" to start therapy, wanting to feel better, lighter, or more in control is enough.

Therapy is a journey we take together, at your pace. It's about helping you find clarity, build emotional strength, and feel more connected, with yourself and the world around you.

Safe Space

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about therapy and the process

The first session is a gentle starting point. There's no pressure to dive deep right away. We'll spend time getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

Together we’ll begin to identify what you might want to focus on in our work. It's okay if you're unsure or feel overwhelmed, this space is here for you to arrive just as you are.

The process is simple and also flexible, based on what feels most comfortable for you. If you're ready to begin, the typical flow looks like this:

Intake Form – First, you'll be asked to fill out a short intake form. This helps gather basic information like your age, contact details, and what brings you to therapy. Free Introductory Call (15 minutes) – Once the form is submitted, we’ll schedule a free 15-20 minute introductory call. This is a space for you to ask any questions, understand how I work, and decide if we’re the right fit for each other.

Consent Form – If we choose to move forward, a detailed consent form will be shared with you. This outlines important guidelines around confidentiality, ethical practice, and session structure.

Starting Therapy – Once the consent form is signed, we can begin therapy sessions. These are typically held once a week, but the frequency can be adjusted (e.g. twice a week or bi-weekly) based on your needs and what we agree upon together during our first session.

Having said that, this process is not set in stone. :)

If payment has already been made, it will be carried forward to the next available session.

Feel free to reach out if you're unsure, I'll do my best to accommodate.

Yes, I offer therapy for adolescents (ages 12+). For clients under 18, parental/guardian consent is required.

Your privacy is of utmost importance. Everything discussed is kept strictly confidential including session content and progress notes, except under the following circumstances:

- You provide written consent to release specific information - To consult with my supervisor for professional development and to ensure quality of care (all names and identifying details will remain anonymous).

- There is a legal obligation to report (e.g., risk of harm to yourself or others, abuse, or neglect).

Confidentiality may not fully apply in cases involving a minor. In such situations, the mental health professional may inform a parent or guardian—with the minor’s awareness and understanding—about the treatment recommended for or provided to the minor.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or even just curious about your own patterns, therapy might be helpful. Seeking therapy is a completely personal choice.

Maybe you're navigating a life change, struggling with self-doubt, struggling with work stress or just finding it hard to cope lately. Or maybe you're simply looking for a space to reflect, understand yourself better, and grow.

If you've ever caught yourself thinking, "I don't feel like myself" or "I just need someone to talk to" that's reason enough. Therapy is for anyone who wants support, clarity, or just a little more ease in their life.

In a typical session, we talk about what's on your mind, whether it's a current struggle, past experience, work issues or just how you're feeling. Therapy isn't about giving advice, but about helping you explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe, supportive space.

That's completely normal. Many people feel that way in the beginning. Opening up can feel vulnerable, and it takes time. We'll go at a pace that feels right for you, with no pressure to share anything before you're ready. There's no expectation beyond what you're comfortable with. Trust is something we'll build together, and I'm here to hold space for you with patience, care, and understanding, whenever you feel ready.
